Experiencing Joy in an Imperfect World
In times of difficulty and grief, joy can seem elusive. Joy, however, is a deeper more enduring state of well-being that comes from within.
The service this morning will provide ideas and practices for cultivating more joy in one's life.

When people hear the word “joy” it often brings to mind an experience that overwhelms, raising the emotions to a pinnacle of positivity. “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord” evokes images of a celestial choir celebrating something holy, powerful and mysterious. Today, however, I would like for us to consider a species of joy that is probably more accessible and, quite frankly, down to earth.
